Project for Research Methods, a core class at OCAD University. The project's objective was to create research publications centred on a selected theme. For your first publication, we were tasked to create an archive of images selected around our theme. Additionally, we had to come up with at least two approaches to sequence/classify those images. The second publication was an annotated bibliography, a textual archive.

I chose Toronto as the main topic for these publications because I recently moved to the city and want to explore and learn about it.

Excerpt from the first publication's introduction: “This book showcases an archive of images featuring Toronto's 'lost' buildings. These lost buildings have either been forgotten about or have undergone significant changes...”

Here's an excerpt from the second publication's introduction: “By examining the causes and consequences, the summaries aim to offer an understanding of gentrification's impact on the city's cultural and demographic fabric...”
